POP-UP PATTERN
A collection of bags with printed origami patterns. I designed the textiles to let the pattern become three-dimensional as a pop-up from cloth, applying the property of puff prints to make the printed area harden.
The folded structure is partly based on the Ron Resch Pattern. The three-dimensionally folded part provides cushioning and protection for the luggage. These bags are shaped with folded and unfolded flat sections, and the difference between the two is used for each part to enjoy the change.
In addition, bags can be formed from a simple rectangular piece of fabric, so that the entire fabric can be used for the product without wasting any of the fabric.
