As part of the project, this workshop introduces how overlooked textile waste can be transformed and given new value through color, texture and making.
Select your favorite colors from industrial leftovers from Dutch weaving mills and make your own bracelet/scrunchie, tassel charm, or earring.
Each piece becomes a unique accessory to keep for yourself or give as a handmade gift. These pieces will also be available for sale during the event.

Make your own one-of-a-kind FRINGE FRIENDS accessory by selecting and combining your favorite colors from textile leftovers.
Each piece becomes completely unique through your own combination of colors and beads. The fringes are gathered onto elastic strings, so it can be worn as a bracelet or hair accessory — a playful accent for your outfit and a unique handmade gift.

The workshop takes place as part of the KA・SA・NE Design Fair.
Duration: approx. 45 minutes
Price: €25 per person
Capacity: up to 8 participants per session
Group bookings are welcome.
Each workshop booking includes materials to create one accessory. Additional materials can also be purchased at a discounted price after the workshop if you’d like to make more at home.

Cancellations or time changes can be made up to 24 hours before your booked session. After this time, bookings are non-refundable.

Not at all. No previous sewing or craft experience is needed. All materials and guidance are included.

Recommended for ages 8+. Younger participants should be accompanied by an adult. Parents are welcome to sit alongside their child without booking a separate workshop place if they are not making a piece themselves.

Walk-ins are welcome, but each session is limited to 8 participants, so booking in advance is recommended to secure your place.

One piece is included per workshop booking. If you finish early, you may be able to start another depending on time and availability.

Yes. Workshop participants can purchase additional materials at 40% off the workshop price to take home and make another piece after the workshop.
